Certified Birth Doula
Rachel Hall is originally from East Texas, but moved to Central Arkansas 19 years ago to attend Central Baptist College where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Christian Counseling. She has been given the incredible blessing of being the mother of FIVE amazing children: Mary Grace, 12; Hudson, 10; Ballard, 9; Wyatt, 5; and Declan, 1. Rachel finds joy in her calling as a mother as she cares for her family and homeschools her children. It is that love for family and a sense of awe at the beautiful process of childbirth that led her to begin her journey to becoming a doula.
After Mary Grace and Hudson’s births, both cesarean sections, Rachel and her husband felt that, although they still wanted to have more children, multiple, repeat c-sections were not the healthiest option for their family. With her pregnancy of her third child she officially began her journey to a VBA2C which led her to a blessed resource called a “doula.”
With the support of a doula, Rachel has had three successful, healthy, natural VBACs. These experiences were life-changing and empowering for her and she desires for other mothers to know the joy of experiencing the fullness of God’s design in childbearing. It was through her relationship with her own doula that Rachel began to feel the calling to be that kind of servant for others.
As a doula, Rachel considers it to be one of the highest honors to come alongside families and be the support they need to take in every moment of the amazing blessing of birth. She desires for families to know and understand the normalcy of birth and how each part of the process exists to benefit both mom and baby. She looks forward to helping and equipping women to feel empowered in their God-given design, and confident in executing their own birth plans.
